Let's get into it:
This was a heck of a ride. I absolutely adored this book and couldn't stop reading it, in fact, I stayed up into the early morning hours because I couldn't put it down. We follow Scarlett, and she's actually a character I enjoyed a lot. She is spunky, not afraid to be different, and also not afraid to speak her mind. She has been kicked out of her previous school and must now attend a school where she absolutely swore she would never go to-but here she is. At this school, her childhood bullies (Neo, Jagger and Crew) are there and absolutely waiting for her.
However in this blue blood society- she must prove her worth through a week-long game controlled by The Lawless- her bullies from before. Things are not as they seem in this society and she's learning that quickly.
The spice was perfect and exciting. The characters are mostly explored, it's a trilogy so obviously we don't know everything right now and that's okay - each one is absolutely interesting and I will continue to read more. This ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared.
I can not wait to read the second one- and will most likely buy these in paperback (which for mean means I LOVE IT).
